Question
Incentives and Rebates
What are Incentives and Rebates and where can I find more information about them on your site?
Answer
Incentives and Rebates are programs offered to consumers or dealers to stimulate sales. The four most common programs are Cash Rebates, Low Interest Financing, Special Leases and Marketing Support.
Cash Rebates, Low Interest Financing and Special Leases are provided directly to the consumers. Eligibility requirements may vary, and not all consumers may qualify.
Marketing Support is provided directly to the dealers, and the benefit may or may not be passed on to consumers. Marketing Support programs take many forms, but the most common type is Dealer Cash Incentives.
For definitions of any of these terms, please see our Incentives and Rebates Glossary.
You can find currently available Incentives and Rebates from any page of our site by selecting New Cars and then Incentives & Rebates, as shown below:

To view complete incentive details, including restrictions and start/end dates, you must select the specific Make, Model and Style of the vehicle you are researching. For help with this process, please see our related FAQ.
Please note that incentive programs are subject to change at any time by the manufacturer. We publish such changes on a daily basis; however, there may be a short delay between the time a manufacturer discloses those changes and the time we revise them on our site.
Also, please note that Edmunds offers Incentives and Rebates information on new and unused vehicles only.
